NISMO athlete Jann Mardenborough named 50th most marketable athlete in the world

ROLLE, Switzerland – GT Academy 2011 winner Jann Mardenborough has been announced as the 50th most marketable athlete in the world, joining a list of superstars such as soccer star Lionel Messi, sprinter Usain Bolt and F1 driver Lewis Hamilton.

Mardenborough, who has progressed through the ranks of motorsport since his victory in 2011 NISMO PlayStation® GT Academy, is predicted to be in the top 50 most marketable athletes in the world over the next three years. The list, formulated by SportsPro Media, takes into consideration measurements such as value for money, age, home market, charisma, willingness to be marketed and crossover appeal.

Mardenborough will be competing alongside two other previous GT Academy winners, Lucas Ordoñez and Mark Shulzhitskiy, in the new Nissan GT-R LM NISMO LMP1 car at Le Mans 24 Hours June 13 and 14
